  1. Mirrorless compact folded optic concentrator with the potential for the highest efficiency in the industry.
  2. Fabrication methods for precision optics design to support our concentrators.
  3. Micro electro-optic based tracker and light steering to redirect the light electronically instead of moving the solar panel.
  4. Non semi-conductor based solar cells using nano-scale rectifying vacuum tubes and hybrid energy carriers called Surface Plasmon Polaritons (ARPA-E finalist for one of the most innovative proposals for a new US energy technology).

We are slowly building out a vertical set of interlocking technology and manufacturing patents. Our objective is to create an intellectual property space that encompasses area-efficient solar technologies and associated green manufacturing technologies. Area efficiency has been completely under developed in the intellectual property space for all renewable energy technologies. This is probably due to the industry-standard thinking of land, for power plants, as cheap. However, moving forward we expect that mounting pressures from the key issues of energy security, fossil fuel depletion, and global warming may make strategic land quite expensive and in short supply.
