Impact
We have made great efforts to eliminate as many possible loss mechanisms and failure points as possible in the design of the lens. This will ensure that we have a lens technology that is robust to the environment over many decades of use and very low in light loss. So low in loss, in fact, that significant solar panel improvements are expected. Thus this concentrator will provide significantly more solar energy harvested per dollar expended, per unit area of receiver, and per physical resource expended for the manufacturing of the concentrator.
