Dedicated Installations

XE-CPV will provide low-profile, area efficient, power plants for large commercial customers such as server farms, heavy industry, and mining operations, located in sunny regions of the World. The power plants will be operated and maintained by XE and the electricity sold to private commercial customers under Power Purchase Agreements.

XE-CPV combines the ease of installation of flat silicon photovoltaic panels with the higher efficiency of triple junction solar cells. Thus, our customers will have the option to mount XE-CPV panels on dedicated land, rooftops, or facades, near to where the energy is needed, to provide an off-grid reliable source of renewable power. XE is also working on a proprietary energy storage technology that we intend to integrate into our panels. If successful, this will allow commercial solar installations that can provide a baseload supply of electricity.

As our panels are predominantly transparent, architects will have the option to design color effects into the panels that will be visible when the panels are viewed from oblique directions. In addition, they may design low power LEDs into the panels to achieve striking visual effects at night.
