Xtreme Energetics Inc. (XE) was formed in 2006 to develop ultra-high efficiency solar power systems to serve both the central-utility and building-integrated solar markets using area-filling and resource-efficient designs. We are a forward looking company that is positioned to exploit the changes in the solar energy market that are inevitable as the problems of energy security, fossil fuel depletion, and global warming begin to be addressed. We focus on developing a solar technology that will ultimately displace fossil fuels for the generation of baseload electric power. Our technology is currently under development and will be launched in stages. It uses the best-of-breed solar cells, a new low loss concentrator design, an integrated low-profile electronic light steering mechanism, and built-in energy storage. This provides unobtrusive concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) power plants for desert central utilities and architecturally versatile solar power systems for the roofs and facades of commercial buildings.
